Investors booked to attend the ShareStock investor event this weekend have received a round of last-minute logistical notices, covering everything from ticket collection to the Friday evening pizza gathering and Saturday supper.

Saturday Timings and What You Need to Bring
Doors open at 8am on Saturday, with breakfast served from 8.30am. Attendees are asked to bring a utility bill or other form of photo identification on the day.
For those who have booked to stay for the Saturday evening, supper is cold salmon, salad and home-made ice cream. If you have not yet confirmed your place for supper, do so by close of play today so catering numbers can be finalised.
A Friday evening gathering is also on offer. Several speakers and guests are joining for pizza at the local pub from 6pm. This is not included in the ticket price but is open to anyone staying overnight who wants an informal start to the weekend. Again, let the organisers know today if you plan to come along.
What the ShareStock Investor Event Offers on the Day
The event is held at The Welsh Hovel, a listed 1600s farmhouse on the banks of the River Dee. The programme features ten speakers on shares and three CEOs grilled on stage, according to the ShareStock 2027 official site.
Confirmed speakers include Jim Mellon, who has been described as Britain’s Buffett; Kevin Taylor, known under the pseudonym Evil Banksta; Boatman Capital, which focuses on short-selling and bear research; Lucien Miers; Peter Brailey, who covers oil and energy stocks; and Barry Downes, Managing Partner at Sure Valley Ventures.
Brian Kinane, who is identified as Chairman of RiverFort Global Capital, is also listed among the speakers. Tom Winnifrith, founder of ShareProphets, rounds out the confirmed roster, with additional speaker and CEO slots still to be announced.
One of the three CEOs confirmed for the on-stage grilling is Cathal Friel, Chairman of hVIVO and Poolbeg Pharma. The other two CEO slots have not yet been publicly named.
Post-show musical entertainment is scheduled to take place over the Saturday supper sitting, as part of the formal programme.
For context on demand, a ShareProphets Bearcast article noted that early-bird tickets were already 15% sold out when they went on sale, with Jim Mellon and Lucien Miers confirmed as returning from prior years.
ShareStock has run previous iterations with a similarly concentrated speaker format. A prior ShareStock event featured Gabriel Grego and Peter Hambro alongside several names who are returning for 2027, giving the format a track record that repeat attendees will already know.
