The Huesca restaurant El Origen will host tonight a tasting menu of five dishes from Ternasco de Aragón paired with five great wines from the Sommos Winery of the Somontano PDO.
Attendees will enjoy a six-pass tasting menu, consisting of an aperitif, two starters, two main courses and a dessert. All of them will be paired with wines from Bodega Sommos.
The menu has been specially designed for the occasion by Beatriz Allué, chef and owner of the restaurant, with the collaboration of Javier Robles, Master of Lamb par excellence, and president of the Aragón Cooks Association (ACA).
Javier and Beatriz will prepare and present the menu and the different dishes, making an impact on the particularity of each of the cuts of Ternasco de Aragón IGP used.
In this way, it is intended to value those less known cuts that mainly start from the leg, skirt and neck. The dishes include the Roast Lamb of Ternasco de Aragón IGP in carpaccio with beets, mustard and fresh cheese or the Churrasco of Ternasco de Aragón IGP encrusted with mojo picón. The menu costs only 35 euros per person and you can reserve a place by calling 974 229 745.
The Club del Ternasco de Aragón currently has 64 affiliated establishments throughout Aragon, of which 31 are in Zaragoza, 15 in Huesca and 18 in Teruel. Its main objective is to stimulate and make visible those establishments that always offer Ternasco de Aragón IGP, cook it and serve it with special dedication and are active prescribers of the brand.
